If you are a counselor pursuing licensure, a newly licensed professional looking for consultation, or a practicing clinician who wants CE that is actually interesting, you are in the right place.
Clinical supervision with Dr. Kristy Burton
Dr. Burton is a board-certified supervisor in Arkansas for both mental health and addictions. She holds the CS, AADC, and MAC credentials, serves as President of the Arkansas Addiction Professionals Association and President-Elect of the Arkansas Counseling Association, and is a faculty member at Ouachita Baptist University. She supervises LACs working toward LPC, LADACs on the addiction track, counseling interns, and newly licensed professionals seeking post-licensure consultation.
Supervision is not just hours on a form. Dr. Burton supervision goes beyond case review into reflective practice, ethical decision-making in the gray areas, specialty support for trauma and addiction cases, and career conversations about scope of practice and building a clinical life.

Hope Builders Clinical Training Collective
Hope Builders is our NBCC-approved continuing education program (ACEP #7353). We offer trainings in clinical ethics, motivational interviewing, trauma-informed care, co-occurring disorders, and reflective supervision. Dr. Burton is a member of MINT (Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers) and delivers MI coaching ranging from foundational to advanced.
Our trainings are built for working clinicians, LPCs, LCSWs, LADACs, LMFTs, peer support providers, and the agencies that employ them. We deliver standing trainings on our own schedule and custom trainings for organizations that want on-site or virtual programming for their teams.
