Payment & coverage

Insurance,
self-pay,
and verification.

We accept several major insurance plans and offer affordable self-pay rates. Call before your first visit and we will verify your specific plan.

Your right to a Good Faith Estimate

Under the federal No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining how much your medical care will cost when you are uninsured or paying for care without using your insurance. Self-pay and uninsured patients can request a Good Faith Estimate at the time of scheduling or up to three business days before your appointment.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate for any single item or service, you may dispute the bill through the federal patient-provider dispute resolution process. To request a Good Faith Estimate, call 501-464-2926 or email scheduling@arcounselingandwellness.com. Learn more at CMS.gov/nosurprises.

We work with insurance because therapy should be accessible, and we offer self-pay options because not every service is something you want to route through insurance. Here is how it works.

Insurance plans we typically accept

We are in-network with several major carriers in Arkansas. Coverage varies by specific plan, so please call or email us with your insurance card before your first appointment and we will verify your exact benefits.

Not seeing your plan? Call us anyway. We work with additional carriers and we can tell you quickly whether we are in-network or whether your plan offers out-of-network benefits.

Self-pay rates

If you prefer to pay out of pocket (for privacy, because you do not want a diagnosis in your medical record, because your deductible is high, or for any other reason), we offer competitive self-pay rates. Some specialty services (DOT SAP evaluations, court-approved groups, supervision) are typically self-pay or paid by the referring employer/court.

Current self-pay rates are available on request. Call 501-464-2926 or email scheduling@arcounselingandwellness.com.

Sliding scale and reduced-fee options

We have limited sliding-scale spots available with our counseling interns and select associates. Sliding-scale is based on household income and assessed during intake. If cost is a barrier, tell us, we can discuss options.

What to bring to your first session

Cancellations and no-shows

We ask for 24 hours notice for cancellations or reschedules. Late cancellations and missed appointments may be charged. This policy helps us offer appointments to clients on our waitlist.
