Theft Prevention Class in Arkansas.

If a court has ordered you to complete a theft prevention class, our 6 hour psychoeducational class is offered quarterly at our North Little Rock office. The class is suitable for adults arrested for theft and for individuals struggling with kleptomania who want to address the underlying patterns. Curriculum focuses on personal development, self awareness, and the cognitive patterns that lead to theft behavior. You receive completion documentation accepted by Arkansas courts and probation. Schedule and registration are posted on our calendar. The class is led by a licensed clinician and uses an evidence based curriculum.

Our court-approved Theft Prevention Class is an educational program addressing underlying behavior patterns and prevention for theft-related offenses. The curriculum goes beyond surface accountability and works with participants to understand the psychological, behavioral, and situational factors that contributed to the offense.

A clinical note

Theft behavior that is truly compulsive (kleptomania) is a distinct clinical condition and may require individual therapy alongside or instead of a psychoeducational class. If you or your referring party suspects this, we can assess during intake and recommend the appropriate level of care. Our team includes clinicians who work with compulsive behaviors.
