Veronica is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, with a wide array of experience and a love for empowering her clients. She has over a decade of experience working with adults, adolescents, and families in a variety of treatment settings. From her work within a community mental health center as a Bachelor-Level Social Workerto experience as a Master-Level Social Worker which includes: grief and loss work with hospice care; school-based mental health therapy; inpatient psychiatric care; outpatient mental health work with adults, adolescents, and families; health insurance based mental health case management; and as a visiting instructor with the University of Arkansas School of Social Work.
Today, Veronica works with her clients using a strengths based perspective, while taking a holistic approach to mental health that recognizes the connection between mind, body, and spirit. She helps her clients by addressing the whole person through a systems perspective and incorporating coping skills that work for the individual and the systems in which they operate. Veronica chooses to use an eclectic variety of treatment modalities to best address the clients’ needs and meet them where they are. Veronica believes in empowering individuals and families through a holistic perspective that can greatly improve daily functioning and overall wellness in the lives of her clients.
Veronica earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work in 2008. She then earned her Master’s Degree in Social Work in 2011, and finally a Master of Science with an Emphasis in Industrial and Organizational Psychology in 2015. She enjoys spending time with her husband and her two children, and in her free time works to advocate for positive policy changes in the community.
