ETHICS FOR CO-OCCURRING COUNSELORS
This course will be presented by Kristy Burton, PhD, LPC-S, AADC, NCC, SAP, TA, A Licensed Professional Counselor and Advanced Alcohol Drug Counselor with nearly 10 years of experience as a therapist and over 20 years working with individuals with substance use disorders.
Objectives:
- Attendees will gain a better awareness and understanding of the implications of ethics in their profession.
- Learn and explore ethics as they pertain to co-occurring clients.
- Exploration of ethical issues and discussion via the use of case presentations and case studies.
