I’m an Arkansas native who completed medical training at UAMS in 2019. I have worked in a hospital setting for the past few years, both as a medical consultant and an inpatient psychiatrist, and this experience has helped me appreciate the complex interactions between mental and physical health. I am a believer in wellness practices and attempt to incorporate them into my own life. When I’m not in the office, I’m usually out in the mountains hiking with my dog.
I believe in utilizing evidence-based psychiatric interventions to help people make positive changes in their lives. I will have an honest and open conversation with you about the possible benefits, risks, and side effects of the treatments we consider. I take my oath to do no harm seriously. I feel strongly that engendering or perpetuating addiction for profit is wrong, and I avoid habit-forming drugs in my practice.
